Last year we at NBHB had the great opportunity of collaborating with Curran J of Kings Rule Together incorporating his “Kings Inspire Kings” design on our Custom Wooden Heart Pins.
Daryl Carter, The Young King and I chopped it up while numbering pins outside of Cosi in the University City section of Philadelphia.
This past Saturday during the NBA Sprite Slam Dunk Contest Thee King himself Lebron James was seen court side supporting the “Kings Inspire Kings” heart pin.
Since then people have been asking ‘How do you feel?’. I really don’t know to be honest. Overwhelmed, thankful, blessed, appreciative, grateful, honored & ready to work harder. Judging by our blog, product updates & missed vending opportunities we’ve been off.
Ironically, 2 weeks prior we started our “Fall’n Love Again” campaign with an all new shirt design & art event which many perceived to be about relationships, but in actuality had everything to do with the refocusing of ones passion.
What is it that you’ve once found pleasure in that you’re no longer involved with? What discouraged you to stop pursuing your dreams? What life changing ideas are collecting dust in your old sketch pad? Goals on hold. Life on ice. Skills on chill. (corny) lol
